Sorry about the car troubles. We had a great Eagle Court of Honor for Devin. I was also awarded my beads and my "rose-colored" scarf with the tartan. Very cool to be done with my ticket and to inducted into the Wood Badge fraternity. My patrol guide also gave me very nice carved buffalo head. Wish you could have been here to share in the ceremonies, but remember, you still have two other nephews that have yet to start on the trail to eagle! Too Hip, gotta go....J.T.

Back to Gilwell?...I need to get there a first time.

I am having a great time working on my tickets, it just so happened that I went to woodbadge the same summer as my sister, 2006. I guess we are both taking after our scouting father, and will need to get our siblings to see the light as well. Of course I did not get to take a weekend trip to Gilwell field between the two weekend Woodbadge courses as my sister did. I probably will not make it there until next year.

Time is moving quickly by me. It is now almost 3 full months into the “Work my Ticket if I can” phase of my Wood Badge course.

I am currently working on 3 different ticket items and have the date set to complete the 4^th ticket item which is a “Fulfilling our Duty to God” achievement day to be held in April of the coming year.

With a bit of help I will be wrapping the last item up about that time also.
